Some nights are worth spending only with your own people. For New Year’s Eve 2027, MAPAMONT guesthouse in Văliug opens its doors to groups of friends and families who want to welcome the new year in the mountains, away from the crowds, in a space that, for a few days, becomes theirs.
The offer is designed for groups: you book a minimum of 10 rooms, for a minimum of 3 nights, between 30 December 2026 and 2 January 2027, and the guesthouse lounge and kitchen are yours alone. All at the foot of the Semenic Mountains, by Gozna Lake and just a 2-minute walk from Après Ski Ponton Casa Baraj.

New Year in the mountains: snow, Semenic and après-ski
In winter, Văliug falls quiet under the snow, and the road to the resort runs through white forests. From MAPAMONT it’s just a 2-minute walk to Après Ski Ponton Casa Baraj, by the lake, while the Semenic plateau and the villages of Gărâna and Brebu Nou are about 30 minutes away by car.
